BENEFITS
The Swedish Tourist Association (STF) offers a 50% discount on the regular price for overnight stays in all STF mountain huts for all Ribboners during their ongoing journey. The discount applies to accommodation in an unspecified bed and does not cover the service fee, day fee, or accommodation at mountain stations. Overnight stays cannot be pre-booked but must be paid on-site upon arrival.

To receive the discount, membership in both STF and VGB must be verified upon arrival (this is easiest done via the Cardskipper app).

STF members also receive a discount on DNT huts in Norway, equivalent to the discount given to DNT members.

SHOP
Our store has both refrigerators and freezers, fruit during peak season, dairy products such as eggs, butter, sausages, ham, pizzas, ready meals, ice cream, etc., in addition to a very well-stocked store with canned goods, cold cuts, dry goods, pasta, candy, soft drinks, beer, etc. Outdoor equipment is available for sale. We sell Primus gas and Primus Power Fuel and spirit fuel.

STF’s store range for mountain cabins is based on two levels: Small and Large. STF Ritsem is like a mountain station with a range not only Large but even Large+, which means that we have a larger range that offers a wide selection of products.

ACCOMMODATION/CAMPING
Yes, we have 14 rooms with up to 45 beds. It is fine to pitch a tent on the lawn that is directly adjacent to the main building. With a paid tent fee, you have the right to use all the amenities in our mountain facility.

EATING
Simple food and café service with coffee, soft drinks, coffee, chocolate balls, maraschinos and more.
It is fine to prepare your own food that you have brought with you or that you have bought in our store.

DEPOT BOX
Bus goods apply here. A service fee of 100 SEK per package is charged for storage and handling. Payment is made upon collection at the reception.

Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that a package can end up at Coop in Gällivare and this means costs for us. That is why it is extremely important that the Ribboners name is NOT listed as the recipient, the recipient should always be “STF Ritsem”. We accept packages from all EU countries, but unfortunately not packages from Norway, as we would then have to pay customs fees that are sometimes thousands of SEK. Unfortunately, we never collect such a package from Norway.

BENEFITS
Ribboners get a 10% discount on everything purchased in the store.

OTHER
Our facility is located at Ritsem’s Sami settlement and has an incomparable view of the Áhkká massif. STF Ritsem is one of Sweden’s very best starting points for hikes and ski tours in Sarek, Padjelanta and Stora Sjöfallet National Park.

Here you can self-cater in a kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge, freezer, showers, sauna and WC with water toilet. Of course you can charge batteries. Drying tents or other things is easy and we have two drying rooms. It is also possible to rent a washing machine.

We offer wifi in public areas and/or in the room from our mobile broadband. The operator Telia’s mobile network is the only one that works in the Ritsem area, but thanks to our wifi it works well even if you have another mobile operator. Otherwise, we usually recommend calling via Messenger.

We have a small shop with books, souvenirs and clothes. We also sell some “kåsor” (cups) and shoelaces, but no dried food or similar. Unfortunately, we do not have gas.

We do not rent accommodation, but we are happy to point out good tent sites for our guests.

EAT
It is possible to have a lighter lunch with us in the form of sandwiches with char, baked potatoes, pie, etc. We also have a large selection of coffee and waffles. There are vegan options and we try to cook everything as lactose- and gluten-free as possible.

DEPOT
You must contact us via email, naturum@laponia.nu, and get confirmation that we are able to receive your package at the office in Jokkmokk and then ship it to naturum Laponia in Stora Sjöfallet. This is because we are not open all the time or are on site. When you have received an OK in response to your email, send the package via PostNord to the Laponia administration in Jokkmokk:

You should plan ahead when sending packages because Naturum Laponia is not staffed every day during the low season, so also make sure it is open when you are going to collect the package. We have received packages for several seasons and we do so free of charge. We do not collect any boxes that end up at agents and we also have no possibility of sending back packages that are not collected. During the summer we have little opportunity to receive deposit boxes but do what we can to help.

BENEFITS
We at Naturum Laponia always offer Ribboners waffles and coffee when they visit us.

We also offer guided tours of the Laponia World Heritage Site.

OTHER
Unfortunately, we don’t have the type of facility that allows for much more than charging electronics, a cup of coffee, and a warming fire.

SHOP
We have a small shop with various food, freeze-dried food, equipment, maps, gas, mosquito repellent, etc. It is also possible to have breakfast/lunch/dinner with us. Dinners sometimes get fully booked so it may be advisable to book dinner in advance during high season. We sell gas and other types of fuel.

Stora Sjöfallet’s facility a mile away on the other side of the lake has a shop. Some cabins along the Kungsleden trail have smaller shops.

ACCOMMODATION/TENTS
We have everything from beds in multi-bed rooms to rooms with more hotel standard. Camping is fine and we have a service house. We charge a fee for camping and using the service house.

EAT
We have a restaurant with breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, waffles every day.

DEPOT BOX
It is possible to send depot boxes to us. Boxes are best sent by Bussgods. PostNord works, but Bussgods is generally safer. DHL and Schenker do not deliver to Saltoluokta.

Every summer we receive large quantities of packages, which we ship across the lake, store and deliver. We charge a fee for the handling, as we spend many hours handling packages during a season. If you want us to return your package, we charge an additional fee for this.

Packages are sent to Saltoluokta Fjällstation, 982 99 Gällivare. Write your name and estimated arrival date clearly on the box. Packages that are not collected or requested to be returned within one month of the estimated arrival date, or at the close of the season, will be opened and donated/thrown away.

We have a small shop with food, freeze-dried, soft preserves, canned goods, dry goods, drinks, sweets, snacks, ice cream, various refrigerated goods, bread, hygiene items, maps, mosquito repellent, patches etc. The nearest shop from us is Årrenjarka which has a shop similar to ours, but with a little more souvenirs. It is located about 20 km from Kvikkjokk towards Jokkmokk. We sell Primus gas here and also T-alcohol.

ACCOMMODATION/TENTS
We have accommodation at the station, both single rooms, 2-bed rooms to 4-bed rooms. Some of our rooms allow pets. There is also the possibility of camping, but this is not something that the mountain station stands for. Camping according to the right of public access applies, but in designated places.

EAT
We have a breakfast buffet, a café that is open daily with coffee and lunch, and in the evening we have an A la Cartè menu in the restaurant. Pre-booking is required for dinner and breakfast. The nearest other place to eat is Årrenjarka as mentioned above.

DEPOT BOX
You can send storage boxes to us. We always recommend sending with Bussgods because they deliver all the way to Kvikkjokk and write “Delivery to Kvikkjokk”. PostNord leaves many packages for delivery in Jokkmokk and we only have the opportunity to pick them up if we have other errands there, since we have 120 kilometers one way. We do not go extra to pick up packages.

We charge a fee of 30 SEK/day with a maximum of 300 SEK. This is because we have very little space for packages, and that we have to go and pick them up from the bus. It is free storage for guests.

BENEFITS
We offer free breakfast to those who book accommodation with us. When booking online, however, you must write White/Green Ribbon under “observations” so we know that they have breakfast!

OTHER
We have both showers, toilets and saunas to rent for a fee. Batteries can be charged in our lobby. We have no daily fee during high season, the guest pays for the shower and/or sauna at the reception (there are high and low seasons). Drying room, service kitchen and washing machine subject to space and booking status, as resident guests have priority.

SHOP
We do not have our own kiosk but can help arrange goods from ICA Jäckvik or Camp Polcirkeln’s service shop, for a fee of 100 SEK. Pre-ordering gas and other goods should be done at least a day before arrival, if possible.

ACCOMMODATION/TENTS
We have cabins to rent, but no possibility to camp here.

EATING
We have a restaurant where we serve à la carte. The restaurant offers food cooked from scratch, we try to find the ingredients as locally as possible. In order to be able to give everyone the best service possible, we prefer that you also pre-book what you want to eat. The restaurant is open on certain days during February-April and during July-August.

DEPOT BOX
It works well and we charge a service fee of 100 SEK/box for handling. Bussgods applies here and it is extra important NOT to write your own name as the recipient, because then the package will stop in Arjeplog (105 km). If you cancel, we would be grateful if you could contact us regarding the return as soon as possible.

OTHER
Vuoggatjålme is a cottage village in the middle of the Arctic Circle at the foot of Tjidjakfjället. Here you will find modern accommodation in our cottages all year round as well as activities and experiences that our magnificent nature offers. When you stay in a cottage, there is a shower and toilet either in the cottage or in a service house depending on the type of cottage. The service house has a washing machine, drying cabinet and sauna. We currently do not have Wi-Fi available. Drying a tent can be difficult to arrange.

The farm has virtually no sales, but the nearby ICA store is well equipped, including cooked sausages and pizza in a small front shop. We do not sell gas, but the nearby ICA store has gas cylinders for sale.

ACCOMMODATION/TENTS
Yes, you can stay here. And camp. Beds are available in shared rooms or private rooms depending on space (hostel). It is also possible to rent an apartment/cottage.

EAT
You cannot buy ready-made food on the farm, but it is available at ICA (sausages and pizza). What the farm offers is the use of a well-equipped kitchen for your own cooking.

DEPOT BOX
You can send depot packages to us. Currently, we do not charge a fee for receiving these. It is good if delivery is to the door so we do not have to pick it up at the store. It works with PostNord. If the Ribboner cancels, he/she can contact us about how and where the package should be returned and the cost of it. No specific time for how long it can stay with us.

OTHER
What we would like to highlight most is the welcoming atmosphere on the farm and the divinely beautiful surroundings. There is also the possibility to shower, take a sauna and wash clothes. You can rent a boat or canoe and paddle on Hornavan. A dip in the icy water or a visit to Jäkkvik’s little chapel.

We have both tent spaces and accommodation with different standards.

EAT
We do not call our restaurant an à la carte restaurant, but we do offer breakfast, dinner and evening coffee to booked guests. If we have very few guests, it may sometimes happen that we refer dinner guests to one of the restaurants around us so occupancy and profitability is better for them. There are often several restaurants in our vicinity.

DEPOT BOXES
We accept deposit boxes and we do not charge. PostNord or Bussgods does not matter. We return packages that are not collected at the owner’s request and expense.

Yes, in our Pilgrim Restaurant. During your meal, you sit by the panoramic windows with a view of the mountain lake Kvarnbergsvattnet. Breakfast is served as a take-away breakfast or in the breakfast room.

It works well and there is no cost. The time for storage is determined by the Ribboner. They can pick it up or pay for return. PostNord works here while Bussgods does not

As Valsjöbua rents the entire Valen Hostel, all White and Green Ribboners are offered a chance to stay overnight at the hostel free of charge when a room is available. Simple but functional standard, room with two beds, fully equipped kitchen with hotplates, oven and microwave, spacious living room with TV, wifi, WC/shower room. Access to drying space. Own bed linen/sleeping bag, otherwise disposable ones are available for purchase. Dogs are welcome.

DEPOT BOX
It is possible to deposit packages with us free of charge. The best way to send packages is with PostNord and with home delivery, we do not collect the package from an agent. Four weeks after the end of the specified collection time, we can return the package if the recipient covers the costs. Otherwise, we offer the package contents free of charge to other participants in the Green or White Ribbon, if this is done in agreement with the owner.

In the camping shop we offer a range of different food and basic necessities and some freeze-dried food. You can also find some camping accessories but unfortunately no gas.

You can choose to stay in a homely cabin with all the amenities, private bathroom and equipped kitchen.
Another accommodation is our cozy hostel which has private rooms and shared bathrooms with a shared living room which has a fully equipped kitchen. It is also possible to camp and then use the service house where there are showers, bathrooms and camping kitchen. In the kitchen you can wash dishes, use a stove, microwave, fridge and kettle. You can also use a washing machine and dryer for your dirty laundry.

EAT
We do not have a restaurant, but for Ribboners this is the place to eat. We have Fjällcafé for coffee and examples from the menu are Dutch butter cake, delicious date cake and BLT sandwich.

At the hotel you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are staying at the hotel, breakfast is included in the room price, otherwise it costs 150 SEK. Lunch and dinner can be chosen from a menu. In the village there are also Rodins Bistro, Flamman and Le Ski where you can eat. Unfortunately, self-catering is not available.

Yes, you can send deposit boxes to us and PostNord applies here. We do not want to collect from agents.
It is also important to book home delivery if you break. Any return is booked by the Ribboner and a delivery fee of 100 SEK.

We charge for one night in a room per depot, that room you can stay in. So the accommodation is free if you choose to stay one night but costs 450 SEK if you do not stay. The accommodation must be prepaid so that the package can be noted in the booking, then the arrival date can be changed/rebooked free of charge because it is difficult to know exactly when you will be hiking/skiing. Must be sent with PostNord home delivery, I do not go and pick up packages. Not open more than during high season, so packages need to arrive when we are open (good if you contact us beforehand). It can take a couple of months. Returns are made with PostNord, paid in advance or cash on delivery.

At our hostel we have a small selection of woolen clothes, maps, compasses, hiking poles, waterproof bags, rechargeable headlamps, snow shovels, etc.
In the village there is an ICA Nära where you can buy food and other things like batteries, prepaid cards and mobile phone charging cables. You can also send a deposit box here, at the gas station there is gas, duct tape, etc.

ACCOMMODATION/TENT
With us you live centrally in the village and close to shops and eateries. We have rooms with everything from 2-6 beds. It is hostel standard, which means that living rooms, kitchens, showers, toilets and drying cabinets are in the common areas. We only allow Green and White Ribboners to camp in our garden and then you use the facilities inside the hostel. There is a sauna but this needs to be booked in advance as they are not heated every day. It costs 100 SEK per person and is turned on and off based on the booked time.

EATING
You can easily cook your food in one of our two equipped kitchens or when Ljungdalens Hemslöjd and cafe, Restaurangen i Ljungdalen, Macken i Ljungdalen or Pensionat Helags are open you might prefer to go there and eat. Their opening hours vary throughout the year so check on Facebook or their websites.

DEPOT BOX
You can send a depot box to ICA Nära Ljungdalen, 845 99 Ljungdalen. If you plan to stay with us at STF Ljungdalen hostel, you can write the hostel’s address (above) but write your name somewhere on the box so we know whose package/box it is and then it will be at the accommodation when you arrive.

BENEFITS
As a Ribboner and member of STF, you can stay with us at a discount. For 250 SEK (50% discount) you get accommodation and bed linen and can dry/air your sleeping bag if needed. If a Ribboner breaks, we can send the package back, if the Ribboner gets in touch and wants it.

The mountain station has a shop with outdoor goods, freeze-dried food, gas, clothing and simple groceries. Four km down the road, in Storsätern, there is the Fjällbua general store with a good selection of groceries.

Accommodation is available at the mountain station and there is the possibility of camping in connection with it. For a service fee for campers, they can use the kitchen, shower, toilets, drying room, etc.

EAT
The mountain station has breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner must be booked in advance. It is also possible to buy coffee. There are several in the area that offer food and coffee. The closest is Sjöstugan at the southern end of the lake, about 1.3 km from the mountain station.

DEPOT BOX

Only PostNord, Bussgods does not work to send packages to us unfortunately. It is important that there is NO personal name at the address, because then the package will end up at Konsum in Idre. The administration fee is currently 75 SEK, which is paid upon collection.

When it comes to packages that are to be sent back if someone chooses to cancel their challenge, we charge according to PostNord’s tariffs, as well as an administration fee of currently
75 SEK. The package is sent from us with a trackable address if you have provided your email address/mobile number. We can only receive and deliver/send back during the regular season as our staff no longer man the reception on site between seasons.

BENEFITS
We offer breakfast and a packed lunch for those who start or finish here, valid in connection with overnight stays. We also offer all Ribboners a waffle at the finish (regardless of overnight stays, valid when the mountain station is open).

At the Hall of Fame in the entrance, there are brass plaques of all Ribboners who have completed any of the Ribbons.

Möjlighet finns att mot avgift endast använda dusch och bastu. Som besökare kan man nyttja eluttag för laddning, finns även på utsidan. Det går även att lämna in det som ska laddas i receptionen och hämta det senare.
